1. Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No. 3-Mr. Pramod Mittal has handed over a Demand Draft for Rs. 35,00,00,000/- (Rupees thirty five crores) to Mr. Uday Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner-State Trading Corporation of India Ltd.
2. Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned senior counsel submits that his client is well determined to ensure payment of all dues which are alleged to be payable by respondent No. 3 to petitioner in full and final settlement of all the disputes arising between the parties as one time settlement.
3. He also submits that learned counsel for the petitioner-State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. should inform respondent No. 3 as to how much remaining amount is alleged to be due and the said amount if found payable, shall be paid by respondent No. 3 within a period of one month.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to inform respondent No. 3 the balance amount alleged to be due to the learned counsel for respondent No. 3 within a week.
5. Needless to observe, if the matter is not settled as suggested by respondent No. 3, these matters will be heard finally on merits.
6. List these matters on 27th August, 2018.
