Today, Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent-applicant handed over a Demand Draft made in favour of petitioner bearing No. 1477716 dated 03-02-2016 for Sterling Pound One Million Nine Hundred Thousand only (As per Indian currency amounting to Rupees Nineteen Crores) drawn on Mashreq Bank London and also handed over two cheques amounting to Rs. 21 Crores made in favour of the petitioner vide Cheque No. 000006 dated 05.02.2016 for Rs. 16,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Crores) drawn on Bank of Baroda, Bandra (W), Bandra-400050 and Cheque No. 391551 dated 20-02-2016 for Rs. 5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crores) drawn on Axis Bank Ltd., New Marine Lines, Mumbai-400002 (photocopy of the Draft/Cheques enclosed), to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

1. Today, Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent-applicant handed over a Demand Draft made in favour of petitioner bearing No. 1477716 dated 03-02-2016 for Sterling Pound One Million Nine Hundred Thousand only (As per Indian currency amounting to Rupees Nineteen Crores) drawn on Mashreq Bank London and also handed over two cheques amounting to Rs. 21 Crores made in favour of the petitioner vide Cheque No. 000006 dated 05.02.2016 for Rs. 16,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Crores) drawn on Bank of Baroda, Bandra (W), Bandra-400050 and Cheque No. 391551 dated 20-02-2016 for Rs. 5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crores) drawn on Axis Bank Ltd., New Marine Lines, Mumbai-400002 (photocopy of the Draft/Cheques enclosed), to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent-applicant further stated that the second cheque dated 20.2.2016 could be encashed as and when presented after 20th Feb., 2016. He further submitted that he will submit a concrete proposal for the payment of the balance amount in terms of the order dated 12.10.2015 passed by this Court within a period of 10 days to the petitioner Corporation and also file a copy of the said proposal in the Registry of this Court.

3. The interim order dated 12th October, 2016 shall continue till 25th February, 2016. With these observations, the I.A. No. 7/2016 stands disposed of.

4. List the SLP on 22nd February, 2016.
