1. Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, learned counsel appearing for the appellants submits that the impugned provision has since been amended pending this litigation and therefore, the cause of action to question its vires need not be gone into and the same no longer survives.
2. We record the statement of the learned counsel for the appellants and accordingly dispose of the appeal as having rendered infructuous in the light of the amendment brought in the concerned statute pending appeal.
3. The appeal is accordingly dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
