1. We are informed that the petitioner has spent more than 13 years in jail. The appeal is of the year 2008.
2. We are also informed that the appeal is not likely to come up in near future.
3. Having regard to the submission of the learned counsel, we are inclined to grant the petitioner an interim bail, since we do not have the benefit of a counter affidavit from the State.
4. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted interim bail for a period of six months, subject to such stringent conditions, as may be imposed by the Trial Court.
5. Post for hearing on 21.08.2018.
