Having heard learned counsel appearing for the parties, we consider it appropriate to direct that until further orders, the petitioners-students should be allowed to retain their seats allotted to them in the first round of counseling for admission to the post-graduate medical courses.

1. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the parties, we consider it appropriate to direct that until further orders, the petitioners-students should be allowed to retain their seats allotted to them in the first round of counseling for admission to the post-graduate medical courses.

2. We order accordingly.

3. Also, there shall be stay of reversion of the seats by the Central Government to the State Government/s until further orders.

4. List these matters on 27.04.2018 for further hearing.

5. In the meantime, the respondents may file their respective reply affidavit, if any.
