1. It is submitted by Mr. Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing for the State, that the candidates who have been extended the benefit of relaxation shall be sent for training and thereafter the letters of appointment would ensue.

2. As far as other candidates who have been selected are concerned, they shall be called for group discussion and their performances including consideration of the the ACR marking and other factors shall be assessed after which the final select list shall be prepared and be produced before this Court. To clarify, the final select list shall be placed before the Court.

3. Mr. Jayant Mehta, learned counsel who has filed an application for impleadment and Mr. Prasad, learned counsel who intends to file an application has raised an apprehension that though the have performed very well in the examination and their ACRs are good, they may not get selected for the post because of grant of relaxation to 110 candidates. Mr. Mehrotra has categorically clarified that the relaxation has been extended to 110 candidates and the same would not be extended to anyone else. We perceive the apprehension may not be eventually correct. Be that as it may, if any equities are to be worked out because of the relaxation granted to 110 people, the said exercise shall be done on the next date of hearing.

4. Let the matter be listed on 08.05.2015.
