3. We have heard learned counsel for the parties finally. After hearing the parties, we are of the opinion that the matter is squarely covered by order dated May 09, 2017 of this Court in Civil Appeal Nos. 6822-6824 of 2017. We, accordingly, allow this appeal of the appellant and hold that he shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of Rs. 109 per square yard.
4. However, in the facts of this case, the appellant shall not be entitled to interest for a period from 15.07.1997 to 15.11.2013.
5. The compensation shall be calculated in the aforesaid manner and shall be paid to the appellant within two months from today. In case the payment is not made within the aforesaid period, the appellant shall be entitled to future interest from the date of this Order.
