1. The High Court by the impugned order has given following directions to the respondents in relation to the subject-matter of the writ petition:
“We, accordingly, direct that:
i. The draft of Rs. 59,84,000.00 shall be handed over to the counsel for the petitioner during course of the day.
ii. The Committee constituted under the Government Order dated 21 March 2016 shall determine amount of compensation payable to the petitioner within a period of one month from today. For this purpose both the petitioner and GDA shall produce relevant documents before the Committee.
iii. Once the Committee determines the compensation, the same shall be payable to the petitioner within a period 15 days.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions.”
2. We find no good ground to interfere with the impugned directions given by the High Court supra. We, however, consider it just and proper to direct the Committee constituted under the Government Order dated 21st March, 2016 as mentioned in clause (ii) quoted above to ensure expeditious disposal of the petitioner’s case which is referred to the Committee for determination of the compensation payable to the petitioner in relation to the disputed land in question, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of this order before the Committee as an outer limit. It shall be filed within two weeks.
3. Depending upon the determination made, the compensation be accordingly paid to the petitioner in accordance with law.
4. With these observations, the special leave petition stands disposed of.
5. Pending application also stands disposed of.
