1. Issue notice.

 

2. Mr. Adarsh Upadhyay, learned Advocate-on-Record accepts notice on behalf of the State of Uttar Pradesh.

 

3. Let the matter be listed on 12.07.2022 before the appropriate regular Bench, as per the assignment made by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India.

 

4. The order dated 07.07.2022 of Remand passed by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh be translated into English and filed in court along with the order of the same date also passed by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh rejecting the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with FIR No. 0226 dated 01.06.2022 lodged at P.S. Khairabad, District Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.

 

5. In the meanwhile, the petitioner shall be granted interim bail in connection with FIR No. 0226 dated 01.06.2022 lodged at P.S. Khairabad, District Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh for a period of five days from today or until further orders of the Regular Bench on terms and conditions to be imposed by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Sitapur, which shall include the conditions that the petitioner shall not post any tweets and shall not tamper with any evidence, electronic or otherwise in Bengaluru or anywhere else.

 

6. It is made clear that this order pertains to FIR No. 0226 dated 01.06.2022 lodged at PS Khairabad, District Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh only.

 

7. Mr. Tushar Mehta, learned Solicitor General of India submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody in Delhi in connection with a different offence.

 

8. This Court is not concerned at this stage with any FIR other than the FIR No. 0226 dated 1st June, 2022 lodged at PS Khairabad, District Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh which is the subject matter of these proceedings.
