1. Delay condoned.
2. We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order passed by the High Court.
3. However, it is stated at the Bar that the petitioner has almost completed 14 years of actual imprisonment. If that be so, in our opinion, his case should be considered for remission of sentence in terms of Sections 432 and 433-A of CrPC in accordance with law, by the competent authority.
4. With this observation, the special leave petition stand disposed of.
5. Let a copy of this order be sent to the State Government and also to the concerned court for ensuring compliance of our order.
