Order

1. Heard Mr. Vikas Singh learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner along with other counsel.

2. It is an urgent matter by its very nature. As the High Court has intercepted in the admission process by way of interim relief, that may or may not be finally approved. Dispute is such, which is required to be finally decided as the entire admission process would depend upon the ultimate outcome of the issues pending before the High Court. As a large number of students have already been admitted and classes have already been started, we request the High Court to take up the matter for final decision immediately and to decide it finally considering its nature, the aforesaid request is made.

3. We request the acting Chief Justice to take up the matter himself or to assign it to an appropriate Bench for expeditious disposal. The Registrar General of the High Court to place the order before the acting Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court with our request to decide it at a early date.

4. It was submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the students that there is a chance that their admission may still go in vain. Let the High Court also consider this aspect. Admissions made so far are not to be displaced before final decision is taken.

5. The special leave petitions stand disposed of.

6. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
