The Order of the court was delivered by
Order
1. An adjournment slip has been circulated by the learned counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh. Learned counsel, however, states that the undertaking given to this Court on 5th June, 2020 has been complied with inasmuch as the Notification was issued on 15th June, 2020.
2. The only other issue which remains as noticed in the last order is the extension of the lease for the period the mining leases were not permitted to operate. Learned counsel assures us that a decision would be taken within a maximum period of fifteen days from today. He also expressed some apprehensions about the interdicts by the High Court. We see no reason for such apprehensions and we had clarified all these aspects on the last date. It is the State Government which has to take a decision and thereafter this Court can give its imprimatur to the decision which will be taken by the State Government and thus, the High Court interdicts would not come in the way.
3. List in the week commencing 4th August, 2020.
