1. Heard.

2. Mr. B.H. Marlapalle, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State, submits that the proceedings before the one-man enquiry commission headed by Justice S.P. Kurdukar, Former Judge of this Court, had been stayed in Original Suit No. 2 of 2003 filed by Union of India against the State of Maharashtra. He further submits that since the said suit has been dismissed, the interim order passed in the same also stands vacated. This would necessarily imply that the Commission can now resume its proceedings. He therefore seeks a week’s time to take further instruction whether or not Justice Kurdukar is willing to resume the proceedings, if so, whether the Commission has been provided with the necessary infrastructure and wherewithal for the completion of the proceedings.

3. Post again on Tuesday, the 24th February, 2015. Needful be done in the meantime.
