Order
1. We have considered the report submitted by Mr. Prateek Hajela, State Coordinator for N.R.C. We have heard Mr. Hajela.
2. On our consideration of the report and after interacting with Mr. Hajela, all that would be required to be recorded is that the process of preparation of the final N.R.C. shall continue to ensure that the publication of the final N.R.C. is made on or before 31.7.2019. The State Coordinator is free to deal with all incidental issues, that may arise, in his wise discretion and in accordance with law. Implementation of the directions of this Court, if any, in Abdul Kuddus v. Union of India1, which is reserved for judgment, may be implemented at the appropriate stage and time, if so required.
3. We further grant leave to the State Coordinator to make a mention of the matter before the Registrar Judicial-I or Registrar Judicial-II on any day during the summer vacation, if urgent orders are required in the case.
4. List the matter again on 10.7.2019 at 2.00 p.m.
