1. Ms. Deepa M. Cholan, Director, Women and Child Development Department, MS Building, Bengaluru-560 001, is impleaded as additional respondent in these petitions.
2. Issue notice to the newly impleaded respondent, returnable on 26.07.2018.
3. The Director is directed to file an affidavit, on or before 25.07.2018, as to why despite the availability of two vacant posts, on repeated instructions, it was communicated that there was no vacant post available in Probation Officer Grade I.
4. The Director shall be present on the next date of hearing. She shall also produce all the communications which she claims to have addressed to the Public Service Commission and corresponding replies from the Commission.
