1. Permission to file the special leave petition is granted.
2. Heard Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners and Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, learned AAG for the State of Uttar Pradesh.
3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we are only inclined to modify the order of the High Court to the extent that chargesheet against the petitioners may be filed if there are materials to do so. We have said so, as the High Court has issued a mandate for filing the chargesheet.
4. With the aforesaid modification in the order of the High Court, the special leave petition is disposed of.
5. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
