1. Mr. Vikas Singh, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Medical Council of India (MCI), has handed over a list of colleges which are situated within and outside the State of Madhya Pradesh, where the students can be accommodated in the vacant seats. The said list is taken on record.

2. Mr. R.S. Jaiswal, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Respondent-State, submits that he will take necessary action and submit a report to this Court within a period of fifteen days from today.

3. It is made clear that the colleges in the concerned States will grant admissions to the students in accordance with law.

4. Mr. Atmaram N.S. Nadkarni, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent-Union of India, and Mr. Vikas Singh, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the MCI, jointly state that the petitioners’ application dated 10.07.2017 seeking renewal of permission for the academic year 2018-19, will be duly processed in accordance with law and a decision will be taken by them at the earliest.

5. In view of the above, Mr. Shyam Divan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, seeks permission to withdraw the interlocutory application for directions being I.A. No. 22449 of 2018.

6. Permission, as sought for, is granted.

7. Accordingly, I.A. No. 22449 of 2018 for directions is dismissed as withdrawn.

8. Stand over for four weeks.
