1. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already taken voluntary retirement in the year 2011. The incident is of the year 2017. The suicide note, on which heavy reliance is placed before the High Court, is of the year 2017.
2. The petitioner is not in a clear position to tell as to what is the stage of investigation.
3. Issue notice, returnable on 30.01.2018.
4. Dasti service, in addition, is permitted.
5. Liberty is granted to serve notice upon the Standing Counsel for the State of Maharashtra. We direct the respondent/State to file a Report as to the stage of investigation on or before 29.01.2018.
6. Till the next date of hearing the petitioner shall not be arrested in connection with FIR No. 115/2017 registered at P.S. Rahata. However, the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation.
