1. Contempt Petition No. 749 of 2019 in M.A. No. 320 of 2019 is disposed of as not pressed.
2. I.A. No. 97627/2019 has been filed by Sh. Pramod Mittal against the respondents praying for a clarification that the applicant has discharged his obligation towards the State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. as surety/guarantor by payment of US Dollars 311 million under his personal guarantee dated 17.5.2011.
3. This Court vide its Judgment and Order dated December 6, 2018, recorded payment by respondents 1 to 3 i.e. M/s. Global Steel Holding Ltd. and Ors., Global Steel Philippines, and Sh. Pramod Mittal of the principal amount of Rs. 1610 crores to the appellant State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. It was further directed that Interest @ 8% p.a. was payable from 10th November 2012, which was rounded off to Rs. 600 crores., payable in 12 weeks. By a further Order dated 12th March 2019, this Court recorded that the amount towards Interest had been paid. As a consequence, the liabilities under the Settlement Agreement dated 15.11.2010, and further Settlement Agreement dated 17.5.2012, stood fully satisfied. The personal guarantee given by Sh. Pramod Mittal dated 17.5.2012 for payment of the amounts due under the aforesaid two Settlement Agreements, stands discharged.
4. I.A. No. 97627 of 2019 is disposed of accordingly.
