The Order of the court was delivered by
Order
1. The Court is convened through Video Conferencing.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State.
3. This Court vide order dated 08.06.20201 had directed the respondent-State to consider the case of the petitioners for their premature release as per the Jail Manual, within a period of four weeks and place the orders before this Court.
4. In compliance of the said order, the respondent-State has filed additional affidavit.
5. We have perused the said affidavit and are of the view that the State has not taken a decision for premature release of the petitioners in terms of our order dated 08.06.20201.
6. In view of the above, we direct the respondent-State to consider afresh the cases of the petitioners herein for their premature release in terms of our order dated 08.06.20201 and pass an appropriate order in that regard within a period of one week from today. The same be placed before us on the next date of hearing.
7. List the matter after ten days.
