Order
1. We have heard the arguments advanced by Mr. Sachin Datta, learned senior counsel appearing for the Governing Body Swami Shraddhanand College and University of Delhi. We have also heard the reply submissions of Mr. A.K. Thakur, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent-Amar Nath Jha.
2. Hearing concluded. Judgment reserved.
3. Till the judgment is pronounced by this Court, considering the interest of Institution it is observed that Dr. Parkash Vir Khatri to continue as the acting Principal and the first respondent-Dr. Amar Nath Jha to continue as the acting Vice-Principal. We make it clear that the above arrangement is made purely keeping in view the interest of the Institution without prejudice to the contentions of both the parties and also the contentions of the University of Delhi. The above interim arrangement shall continue till the Order/judgment on merits is passed by this Court in these special leave petitions.
4. In the meanwhile as directed by the High Court the petitioners-College/University of Delhi to initiate the process of appointment of the regular Principal. It is desirable that the process for appointment of regular Principal shall be completed within a period of two months from today.
