1. In pursuance of our order dated 12.10.2015, Mr. Gautam Mitra, learned counsel, assisting Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned senior counsel for the respondent has handed over four drafts amounting to Rs. 10,00,00,000/- (Rupees ten crores only) to Mr. Uday Gupta, learned counsel assisting Mr. F.S. Nariman, learned senior counsel and cheques amounting to Rs. 20,00,00,000/- (Rupees twenty crores only). Mr. Sibal, after obtaining instructions submitted that the cheques shall positively be encashed. Needless to say, if the cheques are not encashed, the respondent no. 3, Mr. Pramod Mittal shall be liable for contempt of this Court.
2. Today we are not fixing payment for any further amount as we would like the Rs. 30,00,00,000/- (Rupees thirty crores to be realised.
3. Let the matter be listed in the last week of January 2016.
