1. We have taken note of the affidavits filed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Chief Secretary to the State of Assam and the Director General of Police, Assam and also the report submitted by Shri Prateek Hajela, the Project Coordinator. The said affidavits/report are taken on record.

2. There is no prayer made by any of the aforesaid authorities seeking any specific direction or order from the Court. We, therefore, will have no occasion to pass any order, save and except that the statements made in the aforesaid affidavits/report be kept on record.

3. The matters will be listed as and when directions are issued to the above effect.

4. As prayed, the affidavit filed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India be put back in a sealed cover and be handed over to the learned Additional Solicitor General.
