1. Heard.

2. M.A. No(s). 730-756 of 2017 seek extension of time stipulated in the order of this Court dated 9^th February, 2017.

3. The time to revise seniority list is extended till 30^th November, 2017. Further consequential action may be taken by 15^th January, 2018.

4. List all the matters in the last week of January 2018.

5. At this stage, it is brought to our notice that an order has been passed by the High Court of Karnataka on 7^th August, 2017 in W.P. No(s). 34185-34190 of 2017 directing that personal hearing be given to the affected parties.

6. Since the matter has already been decided by this Court, there is no requirement of any further personal hearing. However, if the seniority list is revised in violation of order of this Court, the aggrieved party will be at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. The order of the High Court stands modified accordingly.

7. We make it clear that if any Department finalises the seniority list earlier, the said Department will be at liberty to take further steps earlier than the extended time.
