1. Heard.

2. We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. However, we find that out of total seven years’ jail sentence awarded to the petitioner, he has already undergone three years’ imprisonment.

3. If that be so, we request the High Court to decide the Criminal Appeal No. 92/2016 itself on merits preferably within a period of six months from today.

4. With this observation, the special leave petition stands disposed of.
