1. Mr. Gonsalves, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he intends to give status report and certain suggestions so that there will be real improvement in the homes meant for mentally challenged persons. The learned counsel would submit that his suggestions would solely and exclusively be meant for Asha Kiran which is such a home but which should have adopted by the Government of NCT Delhi in respect of such other homes. He prays for two weeks time to file the same.
2. Copy of the status report and suggestions shall be given to learned counsel for the respondents so that they can respond to them or at least give further suggestions for the improvement.
3. We have said so as such cases are not to be treated as adversarial in nature but there has to be a mind set where both the parties think of some kind of reform as it relates to mentally challenged persons.
