Order
1. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the parties.
2. By our order dated 28-9-20181, we had stated that the complaint filed is to be treated as being on behalf of all the 339 persons and to proceed on merits. We have also stated that the Commission will decide the matter within a period of six months from that date.
3. Six months have long gone and instead of deciding the matter, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has, by an order dated 6-2-20192, posted the matter for directions on 19.08.2019.
4. We are extremely saddened to see that peremptory orders passed by this Court are not followed. We now direct the Commission to decide the matter positively within a period of eight weeks from today.
5. The Miscellaneous Application stands disposed of accordingly.
