Order

1. Mr. R. Basant, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner has, inter alia, argued that eight persons were made accused in the instant case. Four of them namely, A1, A3, A7 and A8 pleaded guilty and were awarded three years rigorous imprisonment, whereas the petitioner is already in jail for four years. He further submits that remaining four accused including the petitioner are facing trial and all three other accused persons have been granted bail during trial. These facts could not be disputed by the learned counsel for the respondent. His only submission is that the petitioner is now chargesheeted under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act as well.

2. Having regard to all the attending circumstances we are of the opinion that the petitioner should be released on bail during trial on the terms and conditions which shall be imposed by the Trial Court.

3. The Special Leave Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

4. Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
