1. Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, learned counsel appearing for Madhya Pradesh Bar Council, brought sealed envelope of the election conducted on 12.08.2018 which was taken on record. The said envelope is opened in the Court today. However, it found that it contains ballot papers of which no counting has been done. It appears that the votes were kept in a sealed cover after the voters who were permitted to vote and no further action thereupon was taken. The envelope is resealed and handed over back to Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, learned counsel for the Madhya Pradesh Bar Council. Further process of counting the ballot papers in front of the candidates and in the presence of the Registrar General or any other Registrar of the High Court shall be undertaken by the Returning Officer and result shall be prepared but shall not be declared without the permission of the Court. It is this result which shall be brought in the sealed cover on the next date of hearing in the Court.

UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
ORDER
