Before we proceed any further we would like the Secretary of the Union Public Service Commission to apprise the Court by tomorrow i.e. 16th January, 2019 at 10.30 a.m. as to whether empanelment of I.P.S. Officers for promotion to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) in different States of the Union is made by the Public Service Commission in the discharge of its functions.
2. The aforesaid information may be laid before the Court by the Secretary of the Union Public Service Commission by appearing personally tomorrow i.e. 16th January, 2019 at 10.30 a.m.
