1. We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned counsel for the private respondents.
2. We have been informed that certain regular promotions were made prior to 12.07.2016 i.e before the Patna High Court passed an interim order in CWJC No. 10669/2016.
3. In our opinion, for the time being the regular promotions made prior to 12.07.2016 should not be affected.
4. On an oral request, the Department of Personnel & Training is impleaded as a party.
5. Cause title be amended accordingly.
6. Issue notice.
7. Dasti, in addition.
8. Reply be filed within four weeks by the Railways as well as by the DoPT.
9. List immediately thereafter.
