1. Leave granted.
2. Heard learned counsel for the appellants. On a perusal of the impugned order, it is evident that the High Court has not examined the matter on merits, singularly on the ground that the direction to appear before the investigating officer and co-operate with the investigation, was not complied with.
3. In our considered opinion, the High Court should have considered the allegations made against the appellants and also taken note of the nature of offences and status of the appellants.
4. In view of the aforesaid, we allow the appeal, set aside the impugned order and request the High Court to dispose of S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No. 5505/2018 within four weeks from the date of presentation of the order before the Registry of the Court.
