v.
Herojeet Ahongshangbam & Ors. _________________ Respondent(s)
Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No. 19197/2018, decided on July 3, 2018
The Order of the court was delivered by
Order
1. Permission to file the special leave petition is granted.
2. Heard Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. The only grievance that has been canvassed before this Court is that the petitioner was not a party before the High Court and yet the High Court has issued directions to the Food Corporation of India (FCI) to blacklist it.
4. In such a situation, we think it appropriate that the petitioner should approach the High Court for modification/review/recall of the order. If such an application is filed within a span of three weeks, the High Court is requested to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks therefrom.
5. Till the High Court decides the matter, the directions relating to blacklisting of the petitioner, as issued by the High Court, shall be kept in abeyance.
6. With the aforesaid observations and direction, the special leave petition is disposed of.
7. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
