3. Mr. Zoheb Hossain, Advocate-on-Records accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Mr. Shyam Divan, learned senior counsel has drawn our attention to the affidavit which is filed by the Union of India wherein there is a specific averment that the time is extended till 31st December, 2017. Since final hearing in these cases would start in the end of November, 2017, there is no need to pass any interim order at this stage.
5. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to press the prayer for stay in case the hearing does not take place or it continues beyond 31st December, 2017.
6. At the same time, in the messages which are sent by Banks or service providers, for linking of Aadhar with Bank accounts or phones etc., it should be specifically stated that the last date for linking is 31st December, 2017 or 6th February, 2018, respectively.
