Order

1. Heard in part. It is submitted by learned counsel for the respondent that in pursuance of order dated 11.07.2014, the petitioners have filed documents only in 38 special leave petitions. The order dated 11.7.2014 reads as follows :

“Learned counsel for the petitioners is allowed three weeks’ time to file additional affidavit giving details of tenant (Karta, referring to the evidence of wherein court/authority noticed the aforesaid evidence).

Post the matter after three weeks.”

2. A chart has been filed at page 10 of the counter affidavit indicating 38 special leave petitions wherein the documents have been filed by October 2015. The core issue that arises for consideration is whether on the tiller’s day, i.e., 1.04.1957 contemporaneous documents were there to establish that the petitioners are protected tenants. Regard being had to the same, the order dated 11.07.2014 was passed.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for some time to argue the matter.

4. List the matter on 26.04.2016.
