The Order of the court was delivered by

Order

1. Having regard to the exceptional situation explained to the Court, only for this year, it is directed that:

(i) For the remaining 553 unfilled Super Specialty seats lying vacant, the DGHS may hold a mop up counselling in an endeavour to fill up such seats within a period of 10 days from today.

(ii) The time schedule and the date of counselling, which may be decided by the DGHS giving adequate time to the candidates to attend the counselling should be duly publicized for five days continuously in national newspapers and also, put up on the website of the DGHS as well as the MCI at the earliest.

(iii) Counselling may be conducted as far as possible on one specified date.

(iv) Joining period may not exceed four days.

2. This order will apply only for the present academic year.

3. The application is disposed of accordingly.
