7. We have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.
8. The only question with regard to the enhancement of the compensation of the acquired land from Rs. 235/- per square yard as awarded by the High Court to Rs. 325/- per square yard as awarded by this Court has been asked for in the appeal.
9. We have examined all the material which has been placed before us and perused the impugned Judgment and Order so passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and we modify the judgment and express our considered opinion that the appellant must get the benefit of enhanced compensation from Rs. 235/- per square yard to Rs. 250/- per square yard of his land acquired by the State.
10. Accordingly, we direct the respondents to pay the enhanced compensation of Rs. 250/- per square yard to the appellant herein.
11. In view of the above, the Appeal is disposed of in the afore-stated terms.
