Order
1. We have heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that some progress has been made in prohibiting the videos and material relating to child pornography, rape and gang rape. It has been brought to our notice that there does not seem to be any standard operating procedure laid down by the police authorities which need to be followed in different parts of the country.
3. The learned ASG should look into the matter and finalize some standard operating procedure which can be followed across the country. The learned ASG says that a preliminary draft has been prepared. It should be circulated to learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Amicus as well so that they can also give their inputs.
4. It is stated that Google has introduced some software in Europe. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Google Inc. says that he will file an additional affidavit within a week.
5. List the matter on 22.10.2018 at 2.00 pm.
