1. Heard Mr. R. Venkata Ramini, Mr. Basava Prabhu Patil and Mr. Rakesh Dwivedi, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners in S.L.P. (C) No. 25518/2015, S.L.P. (C) No. 22921/2015 and S.L.P. (C)…CC 16710/2015 respectively. Also heard Mr. Vijay Bahadur Singh, learned Advocate General, appearing on behalf of the respondent-State of U.P.

2. Having regard to the fact situation in these special leave petitions, we asked the learned Advocate General representing the State of U.P. what is the vacancy position in respect of the Sub-Inspectors and Constables in the State of U.P. In this regard, he seeks time to find out the correct position and also to come with certain concrete proposal to resolve the conflicting interests of the candidates and the writ petitioners before the High Court, who have participated in the Selection process.

3. At the request of the learned Advocate General representing the respondent-State of U.P., the matters are adjourned to 12.01.2016.

4. The matters remained part-heard.
