1. When the matters were adjourned on 1-9-20161 this Court was informed that the talks of settlement were at an advanced stage. When the matters are listed for hearing today, we felt that a last chance has to be given to the parties to make an attempt to settle the dispute. We have requested Shri R. Basanth, learned senior counsel appearing for the State of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Mohan Parasaran, learned senior counsel appearing for the Temple, Mr. M. Yogesh Kanna, learned counsel appearing for the Member Secretary, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department and Mr. V. Ramasubramanian learned counsel appearing for the devotees to take personal interest in ensuring that the matters are settled. The Member Secretary, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department is directed to convene a meeting of all the stakeholders to facilitate the settlement.
