The Judgement of the Court was delivered by

Kurian, J.:—

 

1. The appellants approached this Court with certain grievances regarding promotion of Respondent No. 5 to the post of Professor in the Lucknow University.

 

2. Learned senior counsel appearing for the appellants submits that subsequent to the impugned judgment there had been certain developments.

 

3. Since we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned judgment of the High Court, this appeal is disposed of reserving liberty to the appellants to pursue their grievances in accordance with law before the appropriate Forum as far as the subsequent developments are concerned.

 

4. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.

 

5. There shall be no orders as to costs.
