1. Having considered the names suggested by the parties we constitute a Committee to oversee the Border Fencing work on the Indo-Bangladesh border including the riverine portion thereof with the following persons, subject to their consent:

| 3. | Prof. Abdul Mannan (Retd. Professor of Gauhati University) | Member |
2. We would expect the Committee to be constituted by a formal notification to be issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs within seven (07) days from today. We request the Committee to commence its work immediately thereafter. The first report of the Committee may be submitted to the Court within three months from today.
3. The terms and conditions of the appointment of the Members of the Committee including the Chairperson will be settled by the Ministry of Home Affairs in consultation with the concerned persons.
4. List the matters immediately after the report of the Committee is received.
